Green Wisdom Energy Technology Pte. Ltd. (GWET) was founded by two visionary leaders united by a shared mission: to confront the pressing environmental challenges posed by plastic pollution and to innovate solutions for pollution control and ecological restoration. With over 70 years of combined experience in the energy sector, these co-founders bring unparalleled expertise, a global perspective, and an unwavering commitment to sustainability.
Their professional journey has taken them across continents, where they have worked extensively in Malaysia, Indonesia, China, the Middle East, and the United States. Their background spans multiple facets of the energy industry, including coalbed methane (CBM), onshore operations, offshore projects, and renewable energy integration. Throughout their careers, they have witnessed firsthand the environmental impact of industrial activities—from soil and water contamination to habitat destruction—and, most critically, the escalating problem of plastic pollution. These experiences fueled their passion for creating a more sustainable future, leading them to establish GWET as a leader in clean energy and environmental restoration.
Motivated by their vision, the founders drew upon their deep technical knowledge and international insights to develop cutting-edge technologies aimed at tackling the global plastic pollution crisis. GWET's core product, BADP (Biological All-Degrade Plastic matrix) , marks a significant advance in addressing plastic waste. After over 15 years of intensive research and development, including practical applications and experiments, GWET successfully introduced BADP in 2022. This technology is currently protected by one national invention patent and seven new utility patents, positioning it at the forefront of international innovation. The fully biodegradable mulch film produced using this technology meets the needs of modern agriculture, offering a scientific solution to the worldwide issue of mulch film pollution.
